Monday, 8:00 a.m. Navigation apps freeze. Trains stop. Payment services lose their timing. Emergency systems struggle to locate callers. The cause? Space services are down.
Most of us rarely think about the infrastructure in space that quietly supports our daily lives. Transport, telecommunications, finance, energy and public safety, our societies depend on the infrastructure in space. At the same time threats such as jamming, cyberattacks, space weather and geopolitical tensions are putting these critical services at increasing risk.
The international panel brings together experts from security, critical infrastructure, economics and the space sector to explore the consequences of a „Space Out“ scenario. Are we prepared for a world where space services can no longer be taken for granted?
